A single mother must abandon her home and all she has known. Without sympathy, scared of being abused again, and hiding from her husband, a single mother runs with her children. Over 450 single-mother families have sought safety from abuse and violence in hopes of establishing a new life in Tzfat, Israel. They arrive empty-handed, suffering from their ordeal, and completely without support systems and financial resources.
One People One Heart provides a warm, caring holistic home-based environment for women seeking to heal from trauma, rebuild their life and rekindle hope for their children - a safe place where they can restore their confidence in themselves and the world.
Our unique 5-phase social program carries single mothers and their families through their darkest hour. We offer emergency food assistance and crisis intervention.
Once stabilized, One People One Heart provides holistic family therapies and community building opportunities that help women to discover their talents and potential.
We then guide these women towards self-sufficiency as participants in our Vocational Hub and business development program.
